Beer, Jolly Pumpkin Luciérnaga:, Hazy pale ale with some fruit and spice on the palate. Tame hops. Very subtle and intriguing ale that reminds of the Belgian types, although somewhat more restrained
Wine, Tandem van der Kamp Pinot Noir: Amazingly fruity and light Pinot from Sonoma. All kinds of berries and terroir thingies on this one. This is one of my fave Pinots in a long long time | Gorgeous day in the ATL for Turkey Day. Temps all the way through the race hovering around 34F (1 Celcius). This and the low humidity made for a perfect day for racing. After the eerie wait in the dark, legs woke up to a nice rhythm specially on the hills in the second half of the race. Comfortable.
